Richard Croteau

croteauRichard is the Lead Supervisor of patient meals at Munroe Regional Medical Center, and he is described as the “pinnacle of customer service”
. Having worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, Richard knows how to ensure that patients are happy. He will customize meals, personally serve patients, give out his number so a patient with special challenges can contact him anytime, or go out of his way to calm a patient or family member.  For a particularly challenging patient who had specific diet needs, Richard made sure special diet foods were purchased and served to the patient and spoke with her for every meal to make sure she was properly cared for. This patient was very difficult but Richard turned the patient around to a customer who loved the hospital. This is typical of the care Richard gives. In addition the floor staff love him for his positive intervention with patients.
